Role Description The Accountant role at Ntech Capital Management is a full-time, on-site position based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role is responsible for preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory filings. The Accountant will assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow monitoring to support investment activities and corporate advisory projects. The role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local tax regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide timely financial insights.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
  • Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management to support investment and advisory decisions.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or equivalent).
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Relevant academic qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Experience in private equity, venture capital, corporate advisory, or capital markets is beneficial, as is familiarity with cross-border transactions.
