Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at a major Fintech company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support pertaining to Linux and SQL environments within our organization. As a Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and functionality of our systems, ensuring seamless operations in the fast-paced world of Fintech.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert-level support for Linux operating systems, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.
2. Manage and maintain SQL databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability, implementing best practices for performance enhancement.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues, improve system efficiency, and enhance overall infrastructure performance.
4. Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues to prevent any downtime or disruptions in services.
5. Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and improve system performance.
6. Participate in periodic reviews of system architecture and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for system improvements and innovation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux system administration and SQL database management in a professional setting.
3. Experience in supporting FIX Connectivity is a plus
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl for automation and troubleshooting.
5. Strong understanding of log collection tools
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
