Role Description The Membership Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Fitness First in Shah Alam. This position focuses on engaging prospective members, conducting club tours, and presenting membership options that align with individual fitness goals and budgets. The consultant manages the full sales cycle, from lead generation and follow-up to closing memberships and handling membership inquiries. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in membership systems, providing high-quality customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and members. The role also involves collaborating with club teams on promotional activities, local outreach, and member retention initiatives to support overall club performance.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Membership Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet targets and convert leads into long-term members.
  • Candidates should possess solid Membership and customer relationship management skills to handle sign-ups, renewals, and membership queries effectively.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage diverse individuals, build rapport, and deliver a positive member experience.
  • Relevant experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail sales is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Minimum secondary education; a diploma or degree in business, marketing, sports science, or a related field is an added advantage.
