Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning

• Plan and deliver effective Humanities lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Social Studies, Global Perspectives where applicable.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage young learners and accommodate different learning styles.
• Foster inquiry, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Integrate technology and real-world learning experiences into lessons.
• Prepare teaching resources and maintain a stimulating classroom environment.

Classroom Management

• Establish and maintain a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold school expectations.
• Encourage student participation, collaboration, and independence.
• Support the holistic development and well-being of students.
• Foster respect for diversity, cultural understanding, and responsible citizenship.
• Serve as a class teacher or mentor when assigned.
• Supervise students during school activities, excursions, and events.

Professional Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.
• Curriculum planning and school initiatives.
• Participate in school events, assemblies, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Humanities, History, Geography, Social Studies, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Experience teaching primary-aged students is an advantage.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong ICT skills and ability to integrate technology into teaching.

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM4,762.74 per month

Work Location: In person
