We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and comparison of tender submissions.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate variations and prepare cost impact assessments.
• Review subcontractor quotations, negotiate rates, and prepare subcontract agreements.
• Verify subcontractor progress claims and recommend payments.
• Maintain accurate project cost records and prepare regular cost reports.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Support the commercial team in resolving contractual and commercial issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in building or civil construction projects.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and quantity surveying software.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
