Responsibilities
Desktop Support Engineer (Permanent / Contract)
Working Hours (Staggered)
8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Scope
Provide Level 1–1.5 IT support.
Handle walk-in support at the IT Concierge Counter.
Support user onboarding and device setup.
Accompany vendors to restricted areas when required.
Handle ITSM incidents, service requests, walk-ins, onsite support, and VIP support.
Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network (wired/wireless), Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and account-related issues.
Support password resets, secure token issues, USB whitelisting, software installation, compliance checks, and RMA coordination.
Maintain accurate ticket updates, documentation, and knowledge base.
Handle IT equipment safely, including secure storage media disposal.
Common Issues
Account locked/disabled
Outlook connectivity
SharePoint/OneDrive access
Laptop & PC compliance
Hardware faults
Approved devices not detected
Requirements
IT-trained with frontline IT support experience.
Familiar with ITSM, Windows environment, Microsoft applications, and basic network troubleshooting.
Able to document, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents appropriately.
Able to move IT equipment safely.
Eligible for the required security clearance due to the nature of the role.
Mobile Device Requirement
Only approved mobile devices are allowed (Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG & Google Pixel). Devices from restricted brands are not permitted.
