Julian Grey’s client is a main contractor specialising in landed residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Director on site progress, risk updates, and resource planning.
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve design and technical issues.
- Review and approve requisitions for materials and equipment.
- Manage all site correspondence, documentation, and records with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency.
- Monitor workmanship, safety practices, and progress across trades on site.
- Assist in submission of shop drawings, design documents, and as-built drawings to relevant authorities.
- Attend weekly management meetings and prepare project updates.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in landed housing projects.
- Familiar with project management processes across all project stages.
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
- Willing to attend site regularly to monitor progress, coordinate works, and resolve on-site issues.
