The Security Systems Engineer is a system(s) specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role requires development of technical solutions through automation, scripting, application development and engineering. This position will require the Security Systems Engineer to interface directly with the client in reporting / developing solutions. The Security Systems Engineer would need to analyze complex systems and business challenges and drive best-in-class implementations. Ability to adapt and continuously develop expertise in automation and business process improvements through technical solutions. The Security Systems Engineer will collaborate frequently with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and promote buy-in. Ability to drive productivity and exhibit professional development

Candidate/Position Requirements: 

- Demonstrate significant technical experience and/or Bachelor's Degree (Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics) or similar programs 

- Experience and skills in Python and JavaScript 

- Possess excellent organizational and file management skills and the ability to plan and execute administrative work with little supervision 

- Support and author playbooks, white papers for information sharing and collaboration 

- Strong oral, written and presentation skills. 

- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. 

- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Build and develop automated solutions
- Create and manage technical design documents
- Develop and enhance best practices and standards
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems
- Present solutions and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
- Drive for results and solutions adoption
- Customer interfacing and understanding project requirements, providing high quality design solutions and incorporating new models to augment design standards
- Leading complex projects, mentoring and overseeing projects execution through design excellence processes, ensuring high delivery quality
- Contributes to or may be asked to lead aspects of research, technical analysis, and solutions development
- Work with stakeholders to ensure system operations, security, including testing, troubleshooting, configuration. 
- Develop further expertise within the client's environment.

Desired Qualifications:
- Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Server 2008 to 2019 experience
- Knowledge in database structures
- SQL scripting and data mining
- Experience with statistical analysis and developing automated solutions
- Experience with Google Cloud technologies
- Experience with Google suite platform
- Experience with Physical Security Systems such as Access Control (CCURE), Video Management, and Intrusion Detection
