Who We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • Education: Certificate or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, material handling equipment (MHE), or heavy industrial machinery.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive/machinery electrical systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Problem Solver: Excellent diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues independently.
  • The Vibe: You are physically fit, highly reliable, and safety-conscious. (Note: A valid driver’s license is required if this role involves field service dispatch).

Are you a hands-on problem solver who knows their way around engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems? We are looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Technician / Mechanic to keep our fleet of material handling equipment running at peak performance!

In this role, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our forklifts. Whether you are doing routine preventative maintenance or diagnosing a complex mechanical issue, your work will directly impact our daily operations. If you love turning wrenches, fixing heavy machinery, and taking pride in a job well done, we want you on our team!

What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities)

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance on diesel, gas, and electric forklifts to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on malfunctioning material handling equipment.
  • Hands-on Repairs: Execute high-quality repairs, including engine overhauls, battery replacements, motor repairs, and fixing hydraulic leaks.
  • Parts Management: Identify and request necessary spare parts for repairs and maintain an organized inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Service Reporting: Keep clear and accurate records of all maintenance work, repairs completed, and parts used in our system.
  • Safety First: Ensure all equipment is fully operational and compliant with strict workplace safety and industry standards before returning it to service.
