Responsibilities

Position: Finance Operation Executive

Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,500

Location: KL Eco City, Bangsar

Working days: 10am – 7pm / Mon - Fri

Position Overview:

The Finance Operations Executive is responsible for managing the Company’s day-to-day financial operational, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

This role plays a critical part in managing both traditional finance operations and digital asset transactions, including bank accounts, cryptocurrency exchanges, digital wallets, transaction reconciliations, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant financial processes.

Job Description

[Financial Operations]

  • Perform & record daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and settlements across bank accounts, cryptocurrency exchanges, and digital wallets.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records for both fiat and digital asset activities.
  • Monitor daily cash flow, digital asset balances, and liquidity across multiple platforms.
  • Track transaction fees, exchange fees, blockchain network fees, and other operational costs.
  • Maintain complete transaction logs and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
  • Identify and escalate unusual transactions, discrepancies, or abnormal balances to related department.

[Reconciliation]

  • Perform daily bank-to-ledger reconciliations.
  • Perform wallet-to-ledger reconciliations for cryptocurrency transactions.
  • Reconcile balances between banks, exchanges, custodians, wallets, and accounting records.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial records.

[Financial Reporting]

  • Prepare reports relating to digital asset holdings, transaction movements, and treasury activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation for management reporting.

[Compliance & Internal Controls]

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Follow established internal control procedures for handling financial and digital asset transactions.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Support AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
  • Ensure proper authorization and approval workflows are followed for all financial transactions.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality, security, and financial governance.

[Treasury & Digital Asset Operations]

  • Monitor cryptocurrency wallets, exchange accounts, and custodial platforms.
  • Assist with digital asset transfers while ensuring operational security and compliance.
  • Support treasury activities involving fiat and digital assets.
  • Monitor exchange rates and transactions confirmations.
  • Coordinate with exchanges, custodians, payment providers, and banking partners regarding operational matters.

[General Finance Support]

  • Assist with invoice processing.
  • Participate in finance system improvements and process automation initiatives.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, Treasury, or related financial roles.
  • Experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, payment gateway, digital asset exchange, or financial services industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience handling high-volume financial transactions and reconciliations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of digital asset operations, cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain transactions, and wallet management is an advantage.
  • Familiar with AML/KYC compliance requirements.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
