Job Title: Energy Manager (REEM Certified)
Salary: RM 7,500 – RM 10,000 per month

About the Role As the strategic recruitment partner for this mandate, Kingfisher International is seeking a highly capable Energy Manager to take full ownership of a corporate energy management and compliance framework.

Positioned within the engineering leadership team at the Assistant Manager level, this role is critical to driving a long-term sustainability strategy, optimizing energy efficiency across a premier building portfolio, and ensuring absolute regulatory excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate Energy Management System in strict alignment with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act and Suruhanjaya Tenaga mandates.
• Data Strategy & Reporting: Oversee the collection and analysis of company-wide energy consumption data; prepare and verify high-level Energy Efficiency and Conservation Reports outlining consumption trends and optimization initiatives.
• Portfolio Optimization: Manage and secure official Energy Intensity Labels from the Commission across all corporate assets, ensuring portfolio performance consistently meets or exceeds prescribed energy ratings.
• Executive Advisory: Partner with Registered Energy Auditors to facilitate comprehensive technical audits, translating data insights into actionable, high-impact energy-saving initiatives for senior leadership.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure data integrity across all technical reporting platforms and execute statutory directives as issued by the Commission.

Requirements

• Certification: Must hold a valid Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) Type 2 certification registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Professional/Competent Engineer status.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a strong background in building services or facilities management.
• Core Competencies: Deep operational command of energy optimization frameworks, statutory compliance, and data-driven sustainability reporting.
