• Posses a Degree in Civil Engineering or eqivalent with min 13 years of site experiences.
• Proven experience as Resident Engineer on road & bridge construction project and geotechnical works.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a team of site staff to archieve high standard of Quality Control and ensure compliance to project specification.
• Able to work under pressure to meet with deadlines.
• Responsible for the following up on instruction & commitments associated with the project.
• proficient in the use of industry standard software and technologies for management and documentation. Keep detailed record on site, and report to the Managing Director on the progress report weekly.
• Liase with internal and external stakeholders including contractor and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities.
• Give instructions to the contractor for any testing or investigation work.
• Attend site meeting, progress meeting, design and technical meeting, meet up with statutory bodies as required and representing the company in all relevant meeting.
• To ensure zero functional defects upon hand over
• To assist during handling over to Authority.
• Other duties as and when assigned.
• Registered member of Board of Engineers Malaysia. Candidates with Professional Qualification (P.Eng) is an advantage
• Salary + Site allowance ( Rm 7,705 + Rm 800 )
