Client Industry: Malaysian construction and waterproofing specialist company
Location: Putra Heights
Contract Duration: 1-year (renewable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full spectrum of procurement activities, ensure compliance with the related policies and procedures, cost saving and continuous improvement.
- Working closely with supplier representatives on ensuring cost effectiveness in all products lines and efficiency in delivery.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring all stock movements are properly recorded, monitored, and controlled.
- Responsible for monitoring slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory items to minimize wastage and unnecessary costs.
- Coordinate closely with project, warehouse, finance, and operations teams regarding material requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials based on operational and project schedules.
- Maintaining accurate inventory and purchasing documentation and preparing inventory and procurement reports for management review and decision-making purposes.
- Monitoring procurement budgets, controlling purchasing costs effectively, and ensuring all procurement and inventory activities comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in any related field.
- Minimum 5 years of exposure and working experience as Purchaser/Procurement or equivalent.
- Experience in Construction materials are strongly preferred.
- Communicate effectively with Management and all other levels of employees.
- Familiarity with computer systems and software's i.e. Microsoft, Auto Count.
Pay: RM6,800.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
