Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role based in Kuala Terengganu. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include driving sales, monitoring key performance indicators, and maintaining high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing inventory levels, merchandising products, ensuring accurate cash handling, and implementing retail loss prevention measures. The Store Manager also trains and develops team members, resolves customer concerns, and supports promotional activities to strengthen Bata’s brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering a positive in-store experience.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for engaging customers, leading teams, and coordinating with management.
  • Candidates should possess Store Management skills, including staff supervision, inventory control, and sales performance tracking.
  • Candidates should possess Retail Loss Prevention awareness to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with store policies.
  • Previous experience in retail or store management, preferably in footwear or fashion, is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, make data-informed decisions, and work flexible hours as required.
  • Basic proficiency in point-of-sale systems and retail software; familiarity with visual merchandising is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
