The Job

• Oversee all accounting processes, from daily tasks to strategic planning.

• Lead month-end and year-end closings for accurate financial reports.

• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions through strong internal controls and regular reconciliations.

• Review statutory accounts, handle complex tax tasks, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, provide reliable forecasting, and support business planning and performance reviews.

• Enhance financial controls and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate proactively with external auditors during interim and annual audits to ensure a smooth audit process, timely communication and efficient resolution of audit requirements.

• Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and maintain strong data management practices.

• Participate in other ad hoc assignments for the Finance team as needed.

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with professional accounting qualification (such as HKICPA, ACCA).

• At least 10 years of substantial and relevant work experience. Working experience in audit would be an advantage.

• Extensive knowledge of financial and management accounting.

• Experience in systems upgrading would be advantage.

• Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP, and strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Strong analytical abilities with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

• Candidate with less experience would be considered as Assistant Manager.
