Company Description JustRight Child Occupational Therapy Centre provides occupational therapy services for children and adolescents, focusing on evaluation and treatment to enhance daily performance. The centre works with young clients to support their participation in home, school, and community activities. Services are tailored to individual needs, addressing sensory, motor, and functional challenges. The team collaborates closely with families and other professionals to promote meaningful, practical outcomes for each child.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Butterworth. The Occupational Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments for children and adolescents, identify functional challenges, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily tasks include delivering therapy sessions, monitoring progress, documenting clinical notes, and adjusting interventions as needed. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s participation in daily activities. The Occupational Therapist will also provide education, home programs, and recommendations to enhance performance in self-care, school tasks, play, and social participation.

Qualifications

  • Clinical expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess and treat functional challenges in children and adolescents.
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics relevant to child development, neurodevelopmental conditions, and common pediatric diagnoses.
  • Strong Communication skills for working with children, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for relevant professional registration or licensure.
  • Ability to develop individualized intervention plans, manage caseloads, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Commitment to child-centered, family-focused care and ongoing professional development.
