Our client is a leading international professional services firm with a well-established global pricing function, now expanding its commercial capability in Asia. They are seeking a Pricing Manager to work on the commercial strategy behind the firm's most complex, high-value client engagement, including services delivered through new technology and AI-enabled models.
This is a high-visibility role advising senior stakeholders directly. You'll shape fee strategies, build financial models, and influence how a top global firm prices its services in a fast-evolving market. A rare opportunity for a commercially sharp finance or pricing professional to step into a genuinely strategic regional seat.
The Role:
- Develop, analyse, and review commercial proposals for complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional client engagements
- Advise senior stakeholders and engagement teams on pricing strategy including fee structures, scenario analysis, margin modelling, and negotiation planning
- Build bespoke financial models under deadline pressure, and develop reusable pricing tools and playbooks to drive standardisation
- Recommend optimal commercial arrangements across time-based billing, fixed fees, value/outcome-based pricing, and hybrid structures
- Support strategic client bids, RFPs, and preferred-supplier processes regionally and globally, shaping commercial positioning across jurisdictions
- Guide fee proposals through internal governance and approval committees
- Contribute to pricing strategy for AI-assisted and tech-enabled delivery models
- Deliver pricing insights, market intelligence, and training to fee earners and business teams across the region
- Partner with project management, billing, finance, and technology teams to ensure agreed fee arrangements are implemented effectively
Requirements:
- Exceptionally strong financial numeracy with excellent modelling and data manipulation skills (advanced Excel essential, SAP/Tableau a plus)
- Background in pricing, commercial finance, deal pricing, or bid/commercial management within professional services, law firm, consulting, or a client-side commercial function
- Qualified accountant desirable but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen and a solid grasp of B2B fee structures
- The gravitas and communication skills to advise, challenge, and influence stakeholders at the most senior levels
- Composed and accurate under pressure, with strong project and deadline management
