An exciting opportunity has opened with a well-established international energy and commodities trading company for an experienced Oil Trader to join its growing commercial team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand physical crude oil and/or refined products trading portfolios.
• Identify and execute trading opportunities across regional and international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key market participants.
• Monitor market fundamentals, price movements, and geopolitical developments to identify commercial opportunities.
• Manage end-to-end trade execution, including contract negotiations, logistics coordination, and risk management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise trading strategies and maximise profitability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in physical oil trading (crude oil and/or refined petroleum products).
• Strong commercial acumen with an established industry network.
• Experience in contract negotiations, freight, logistics, and trade execution.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
