Role Description

We're looking for a passionate Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging stories. This role requires a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, sound design, and visual aesthetics. Experience editing automotive content is a plus, but a passion for cars and cinematic filmmaking is equally valued.

Responsibilities

• Edit automotive commercials, branded films, social media videos, and digital campaigns
• Assemble and refine footage into compelling, story-driven edits
• Perform colour correction and basic colour grading
• Enhance videos with sound design, music, transitions, and visual effects
• Create edits optimised for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other digital platforms
• Manage project files, media organisation, and version control
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and production quality standards
• Stay updated on editing trends, storytelling techniques, and emerging creative technologies

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Malaysia
• 3–5 years of professional video editing experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing automotive commercial, branded, or social media content
• A creative mind with a sharp eye for detail
• Strong sense of pacing, typography, layout, and visual storytelling
• Familiarity with social media trends and short-form content
• Proficiency in editing tools like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and CapCut
• Able to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
• Interest in automotive content is highly preferred
• Experimental with AI editing tools and workflows
• Diploma/Degree in Film, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic videography and motion graphics skills are a plus
