Purchasing Executive (Direct Material) – JB / SD Area

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of direct materials to support production demand
• Monitor stock level and ensure material availability for production plan
• Follow up supplier delivery performance and resolve quality/delivery issues
• Handle supplier communication and issue resolution independently
• Conduct price negotiation and cost analysis
• Support annual cost reduction initiatives (Cost Down / VA-VE)
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality and Engineering teams

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years purchasing experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in direct material procurement is an advantage
• Familiar with SAP/MRP system preferred
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and supplier management skills
• Able to communicate in Mandarin (preferred)

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
