Gateway Search is proud to work with the service provider for turnkey power protection solutions. Due to their business expansion in Singapore, they are looking to bring on board a qualified Application Engineer.
Please note that this role is based on 5.5 working days.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the electrical design of Critical Power Solutions.
- Design the MV and LV switchgear, transformers, NER equipment, gensets, transfer switches (both ATS & STS), both Static and Dynamic UPS systems, Energy Storage systems, PLC control panels and system control narratives.
- Responsible for the integration of the equipment that is part of the Critical Power Solution. Liaise with individual vendors of the equipment to define the necessary interfacing.
- Responsible to meet the Tender and/or Project specification. Clarify the design in design meetings with internal departments and/or customer.
- Responsible to lead the Engineers and Drafters by stating the design targets.
- Check and verify engineering documents against system design.
- Follow developments in the industry related to the Energy Transition, regulation changes and trends, and adapt and contribute to new concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or other relevant technical disciplines is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably in Critical Power, Data Centre, Industrial Power, or Energy Infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems
- Good understanding of electrical protection, power system architecture, equipment interfacing, and system integration.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, SKM, or equivalent electrical design and power system analysis tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
