We are hiring a Technical Documentation & Operations Knowledge Analyst to own and maintain documentation across security platforms, infrastructure, and operational processes spanning on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and container platforms).

This role is embedded within engineering operations. The individual will work directly with L3 engineers, access systems where required, and ensure all documentation reflects real-world configurations, processes, and controls.

Core Scope

• Security tools (e.g. EDR, SIEM, DAM, Anti-Malware platforms)
• Cloud environments (AWS, Azure – VM and container services)
• On-prem infrastructure (Linux and Windows servers)
• Automation and deployment processes (scripts, pipelines, Terraform, YAML)

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain documentation for all tools, platforms, and operational processes
• Build and maintain:
• Runbooks (incident handling, troubleshooting)
• SOPs (BAU operations, maintenance tasks)
• Deployment guides (on-prem, cloud, containers)
• Architecture and data flow documentation
• Validate documentation against:
• Live system configurations
• Actual scripts and deployment pipelines
• Work directly with engineers to capture undocumented workflows and edge cases
• Ensure documentation supports:
• Daily operations (L1–L3 teams)
• Audit and control testing (clear evidence and traceability)
• Standardize documentation structure, templates, and naming conventions
• Identify gaps in documentation across:
• Container environments
• Cloud workloads
• Automation scripts
• Track changes in environment and ensure documentation is updated proactively
• Support RFI, audit, and risk queries with accurate and consistent documentation
• Maintain centralized repository (e.g. Confluence / SharePoint )
• Introduce automation where possible:
• Extracting configurations
• Version-controlling documentation
• Linking documentation to pipelines

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years in technical documentation, IT operations, or infrastructure support
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Linux and Windows environments
• Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Basic networking concepts
• Ability to read and interpret:
• Bash and PowerShell scripts
• YAML and Terraform configurations
• Experience documenting:
• Security platforms (EDR, SIEM, DAM, etc.)
• Deployment and automation workflows
• Familiarity with:
• Container environments (Docker / Kubernetes basics)
• Experience supporting:
• Audit, control testing, or risk/compliance documentation
• Strong attention to detail with ability to challenge inconsistencies
• Hands-on experience with documentation tools:
• Confluence, SharePoint, Git
