Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Regional Strategy Group in Singapore.

This role plays a key part in driving country strategy planning, business performance management, and cross-functional collaboration across the region. You will support strategic initiatives and help deliver value through business insights, governance, and project execution.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy Planning & Performance Management

  • Support development of annual strategic and financial plans across business units through structured planning processes
  • Track performance against targets and analyse key drivers, variances, and trends
  • Coordinate governance matters including board, committees, and approval processes
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities (e.g. M&A support)

Driving Group Synergies

  • Facilitate cross-business unit collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Identify and drive synergies across markets and functions
  • Engage stakeholders to support regional initiatives and alignment across BUs

Project & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support execution of regional and global strategic initiatives across business units
  • Perform business analysis and contribute market and performance insights
  • Assist in project management and delivery of key strategic programmes


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, performance management, or financial analysis
  • Experience in insurance or financial services, with understanding of market dynamics and regulatory environment preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret business performance, financials, and key drivers
  • Good understanding of sales, product, customer, and financial metrics across business units
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support decision-making across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work across markets and functions, and manage multiple priorities in a regional environment
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
