R&O Company Hiring! Full Time Account Associate in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business
• Junior Associate: At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Senior Associate: 3 –5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in professional services firms is highly preferred
• Experience handling Singapore clients and/or Singapore tax is an advantage
• Proactive, adaptable, well-organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to take on responsibilities beyond core job scope when required
• Good communication skills (English required; Mandarin is a plus)
• Must be based in or able to commute to Central Kuala Lumpur
• Laptop will be provided
• Mostly Work-from-home (WFH) role, however still required to head down office for team trainings/meetings occasionally
• Office located at Naza Tower

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service and ensure deliverables are completed within timelines
• Prepare Management Accounts, customized reporting packages and Statutory Financial Statements based on IFRS standards
• Handle GST and Corporate Tax returns, monthly payroll, expense disbursements and year-end remuneration returns (e.g. Form IR8A)
• Prepare cash flow forecasts to support payment planning and perform bank reconciliations
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents by retrieving and providing necessary documents and information
• Proactively suggest process improvements and contribute to business development initiatives
• Work collaboratively as a strong team player within a diverse team environment
