Trees Engineering Hiring! Full Time Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to support Oil & Gas and offshore engineering projects across the full project lifecycle, including FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation, and Commissioning phases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reliable and efficient rotating equipment engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with international standards, project specifications, and operational requirements.

• Develop and deliver rotating equipment engineering solutions in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and industry best practices.
• Perform engineering activities related to the selection, design, evaluation, and integration of rotating equipment systems.
• Prepare and review technical documents including equipment specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions, calculations, vendor documents, and engineering reports.
• Support equipment selection and technical evaluations during procurement activities, including vendor document review and technical clarification.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and package suppliers to ensure equipment design and delivery meet project requirements.
• Perform technical reviews of rotating equipment packages including performance data, drawings, calculations, and manufacturing documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability reviews, model reviews, and multidisciplinary engineering coordination meetings.
• Support inspection, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for rotating equipment.
• Ensure equipment reliability, operability, maintainability, and safety requirements are incorporated into engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and support discipline leadership when required.
• Apply lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives throughout project execution.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in Rotating Equipment Engineering within the Oil & Gas, Offshore, Energy, or EPC industry.
• Strong experience with rotating equipment engineering, design, selection, and technical evaluation.
• Experience supporting FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, EPCI, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment including but not limited to:
• Pumps
• Compressors
• Turbines
• Motors
• Drivers and auxiliary systems
• Experience reviewing vendor packages, technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and performance documentation.
• Familiarity with international standards and engineering practices related to rotating equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, clients, and contractors.
