Valmont Industries is looking for an Associate IT Security Analyst to join our Global IT Security team. In this role, you'll help safeguard our enterprise systems by monitoring security infrastructure, responding to security incidents, supporting vulnerability management, and ensuring our security platforms remain effective and compliant.

What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain enterprise security solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across systems and networks.
- Respond to security alerts and incidents, working closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve issues.
- Participate in security incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
- Perform security configuration updates, including policies, signatures, and system settings.
- Assist in administering security platforms and ensuring compliance with corporate security standards.
- Review system logs and conduct vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks.
- Process and implement approved changes to security infrastructure.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 year of experience in Information Security, IT Infrastructure, or Systems Administration.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and web or email security solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning.
