We are looking for a proactive and motivated Senior Executive, Human Resources to support day-to-day HR operations while contributing to strategic people initiatives that drive business success. This role will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensure HR compliance, support employee engagement programs, and partner closely with management to deliver effective and people-centric HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Business Support
- Support the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Assist management in workforce planning, manpower requirements, and organizational development activities.
- Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with employment legislation and company standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records and HR data.
- Prepare monthly HR reports and maintain HR metrics.
- Coordinate monthly payroll preparation and statutory submissions with Finance or external payroll providers.
- Manage general HR administration, including employee records, office supplies, and other administrative support.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Development
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
- Prepare and update job descriptions based on business requirements.
- Coordinate employee confirmation, performance appraisal, promotion, and offboarding processes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programmes.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee disciplinary matters, grievances, and performance improvement processes in accordance with company policies and employment laws.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and labour regulations.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Organise employee engagement activities and wellness programmes.
- Support initiatives that promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in implementing employer branding and employee experience initiatives.
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum3 years of HR generalist experience.
- Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing and Malaysian employment legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HRIS is an advantage.
- A proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
