Role Overview
The Business Analyst supports the evaluation, structuring and execution of renewable energy investments, with a focus on solar, BESS and PPA-based projects. The role provides hands-on exposure to project finance modelling, debt financing, investment analysis and transaction execution across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain project finance models for solar, BESS and hybrid projects (IRR, DSCR, sensitivities).
• Analyse PPA structures and translate contractual terms into financial models.
• Support project financing processes including lender materials, covenant analysis and downside cases.
• Assist in financial due diligence, data room coordination and information requests.
• Prepare investment memos, management presentations and financial summaries.
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance and forecast vs actual variances.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–2 years post-graduate experience in project finance, infrastructure, renewables, investment banking or transaction advisory (internship experience welcomed).
• Strong Excel-based financial modelling skills; project finance modelling exposure preferred.
• Understanding of DSCR-based financing, debt structures and PPAs is an advantage.
• CFA Level I or II (completed or in progress) strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and attention to detail.
