Job Description

Responsibilities

Nearest MRT: Aljunied

Contract Period: From 3 Aug 2026 to 6 Nov 2026 (14 weeks)

Working Hours: 4 days a week: 8am to 4pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break.

Job Description:

Provided regular mentoring and counselling support to identified students over an extended period.
Built positive relationships with students and supported their holistic development.
Planned and conducted intervention programmes tailored to students’ individual needs, including house visits where required.
Observed and identified students’ developmental and behavioural needs and reported concerns to school management for further support.
Participated in case review and case management meetings to provide feedback on student progress, concerns, and programme outcomes.
Worked collaboratively with Student Management and Student Development teams to support student well-being and character development.
Maintained professionalism and adhered to school policies, responsibilities, and behavioural expectations during all school engagements.

Job Requirements:

Registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE) as a Youth Worker.
Registered Social Worker in Singapore or supervised by a registered Social Worker.
Possess a tertiary qualification in counselling, psychology, social work, or related disciplines.
Experienced or trained in social and emotional learning (SEL) and youth development.
Skilled in engaging, motivating, and facilitating learning through hands-on activities.
Passionate about supporting at-risk students and their families and fostering positive development.
Competent in handling student mentoring, intervention, and case management responsibilities.
Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the social service sector.
Experience in conducting training or intervention programmes for students and families.
