Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications and healthcare products to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Provide accurate information and respond to patient inquiries regarding medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks, including operating the cash register, processing transactions, and managing medication inventory.
• Monitor and track medication expiry dates, promptly reporting any discrepancies or expired stock to the pharmacist.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in a courteous, timely, and professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure proper labelling, packaging, and storage of medicines in compliance with pharmacy standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment within the pharmacy area.
• Support the pharmacist in preparing and updating patient medication records to ensure accuracy and continuity of care.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience in a similar role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical field.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in multiple languages will be considered an added advantage.
