Full Time Quantity Surveyor Jobs, salary up to SGD 3,000 in KAO LEE ALUMINIUM INDUSTRIAL PTE. LTD. - Ricebowl

Description:

• Report directly to the Business Manager.
• Able to read architectural, structural drawings, understanding of general technical terms, specifications and bills of quantities.
• Have some basic experience in design, fabrication and site installation knowledge of aluminum and glazing works.
• Assist in the taking off quantities from the architectural drawings to facilitate cost estimation and pricing.
• Assist in contract administration, including preparing tender documents, conducting pre-qualification exercises, attending tender interviews, and performing site survey
• Coordinate with the internal design department to obtain and review tender drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to the Main Contractor, regularly updating and evaluating certification status against monthly forecasts
• Evaluate subcontractors’ progress claims and assist in preparing final accounts for projects and subcontractors
• Ensure all procedures and work sequencing comply with the company’s ISO standard manual, maintaining proper documentation, record updates, and filing systems
• In view of the nature of the work and the demand, you are therefore obliged to work beyond the normal working hours, even on public holidays to fulfill the commitment.
• Required to undertake any other assignment as and when being dedicated or assigned by your superior or management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Estate Management or other related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration, variation orders and tendering process
• Meticulous and able to work well under pressure
