Job Description

• Position Title: Business Analyst
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon – Fri (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Fri 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Completion Bonus
• Duration: Contract Role (from start until end of Mar 2028)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BAU operations to ensure system availability, performance, reliability, and service continuity.
• Serve as the main contact point for business users on system issues, service requests, enhancements, and operational queries.
• Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and change requests according to agreed service level agreements.
• Perform root cause analysis and work with IT teams, vendors, and technology partners to resolve system issues.
• Support system enhancements and releases, including requirements analysis, testing, UAT coordination, deployment support, and post-release checks.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, proper usage, and compliance with data protection requirements under the Personal Data Protection Act.
• Support reporting and analytics to provide operational insights and aid decision-making.
• Recommend improvements to system processes, workflows, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure governance and compliance with relevant policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, process flows, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Support vendor management and monitor service delivery in an SLA-driven environment.
• Review recurring issues and work with stakeholders to implement preventive measures.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Application Support Analyst, System Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in BAU operations, incident management, service requests, change requests, and system enhancements.
• Knowledge and experience in .NET and Microsoft Azure will be advantageous.
• Knowledge or exposure to Whole-of-Government digital tools such as ApplySG, Ogre, Opus, or Optical CMS will be advantageous.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, UAT coordination, release support, and deployment coordination.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with business users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Able to manage priorities in an SLA-driven environment.
• Good understanding of data governance, system documentation, operational controls, and compliance requirements.
