The General Cleaner is responsible for carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties within a shopping mall environment to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. The role involves performing routine cleaning operations at indoor public areas and supporting daily operational requirements as assigned by the Supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties within shopping mall premises as assigned
Clean and maintain common areas, walkways, toilets, retail areas, offices, and other designated areas
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times within public and tenant areas
Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely and properly
Ensure safety measures and operational procedures are adhered to during cleaning activities
Report maintenance issues, damages, or unsafe conditions to the Supervisor promptly
Update cleaning records, job sheets, and logbook entries where required
Support ad-hoc cleaning duties and operational assignments assigned by Management or Supervisor

Requirements

Prior experience in shopping mall or commercial building cleaning will be an advantage
Willing to perform cleaning duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Positive attitude with good teamwork and willingness to learn
Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties
