The Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building facilities and M&E systems. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, attend to breakdowns, conduct routine inspections, and ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building M&E systems and facilities.
Conduct routine inspections and attend to equipment faults and breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and carry out minor repair and rectification works.
Monitor the performance of building services, including electrical, ACMV, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Coordinate and supervise contractors for maintenance works where required.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and logbooks.
Report equipment defects and maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and company procedures.
Support emergency response and other ad-hoc maintenance duties as assigned.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC, ITE or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
Prior experience in facilities maintenance or M&E services is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, ACMV, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsible, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when required.
