Job Description

• Position Title: Project Engineer (Civil & Structural – Main Contractor)
• Working Location: Depends on the project
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM -12:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Discretionary Bonus + Telephone allowance
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Civil & Structural engineering works, including design review, planning and technical coordination.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, technical documents and related submissions to relevant authorities.
• Monitor and ensure timely submission of drawings, plans, reports and other required documents to consultants, authorities and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, M&E teams, architectural teams and other relevant parties to resolve project specifications, technical matters and site issues.
• Assist in overall project coordination and supervise Civil & Structural works on site to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Attend project meetings, technical discussions and site inspections during the construction stage, and assist with meeting notes where required.
• Maintain proper records of test reports, site tests, structural-related submissions, Green Mark requirements and constructability-related documentation.
• Ensure proper document control and compilation of project records in accordance with the company’s quality and ISO procedures.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural coordination within an A1 main contractor environment, preferably with exposure to large-scale building or condominium projects.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings, specifications, technical requirements and construction procedures.
• Able to work independently with good attention to detail, analytical thinking and strong problem-solving ability.
• Proactive, responsible and able to manage tight project deadlines.
