About the Roles

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join an Engineering and Construction team based in Kaki Bukit. This is a permanent role with a 5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm), offering a competitive package of basic salary up to $4,000 plus variable bonus. The role provides an opportunity to support diverse M&E construction projects while contributing to effective cost management and project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare cost estimates using project drawings, specifications, and relevant project details.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for Mechanical (ACMV – Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation), Electrical, Plumbing, and Sanitary works.
• Develop project budgets, track cost variations, and propose cost-efficient alternatives.
• Compile tender documentation, assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, and assist with procurement processes.
• Manage M&E contracts, including variation orders, claims, and contractual requirements.
• Evaluate project costs and identify potential contract and cost-related risks.
• Recommend practical and economical solutions while maintaining required quality standards.
• Prepare regular cost reports and communicate project cost updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support smooth project execution.
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within M&E construction or commercial projects.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Mechanical (ACMV – Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation), Electrical, Plumbing, and Sanitary works.
