Job Responsibility

• Managing all leasing activities within the mall, negotiating lease agreements, and ensuring a diverse and profitable mix of retail options for customers.
• Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones, aiming to achieve optimal occupancy levels
• Conduct market research to understand retail trends, identify potential tenants, and stay competitive with leasing terms and rates.
• Show available retail spaces to prospective tenants, providing detailed information on demographics, foot traffic, and marketing opportunities.
• Negotiate lease terms, including rent, duration, and tenant improvements, ensuring agreements meet the mall's financial and operational objectives.
• Work closely with marketing and promotions teams to support tenant businesses
• Monitor tenant sales performance and collaborate with tenants to develop strategies for sales improvement, where necessary,
• Prepare regular reports on leasing activities, occupancy rates, financial performance, and market analysis for senior management.
• Participate in networking events and industry conferences to build relationship with potential tenants and stay informed about industry development.
• Maintain a good rapport with new and existing tenants

Job requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Leasing/Marketing/Estate Management/Retail or related disciplines.
• Proven experience as a Leasing Manager or similar role, preferably within the retail sector.
• Strong understanding of retail dynamics and leasing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, sales, and market trends to make informed decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Works in an office within the mall but will also spend time on the mall floor, interacting with tenants and evaluating retail spaces.
• Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, a strong background in retail or commercial leasing and ability to maintain positive relationships with tenants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
