About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Hollow Core Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance and servicing of our hollow core production machinery. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensure equipment reliability, minimize production downtime, and support continuous improvement in our precast manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for hollow core production machines and equipment.
- Plan manpower and maintenance schedules to ensure machines operate efficiently and meet production requirements.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and supervise breakdown repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure hollow core extrusion machines, saw machines, casting beds, and related equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance workshop.
- Conduct on-the-job training, toolbox briefings, and coaching for maintenance team members.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and prepare purchase requests for required maintenance items.
- Prepare maintenance reports, machine performance updates, and other reports as required.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, ISO 14001, and OHS requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer or Management.
RequirementsQualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in precast concrete or manufacturing environments.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of hollow core extrusion machines and casting bed systems.
- Hands-on experience maintaining motors, gearboxes, bearings, cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical panels, motor control systems, sensors, inverters, instrumentation, and PLC systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems.
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning, breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, and spare parts management.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems/software is an advantage.

- Able to coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians.
