[HIRING] Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly dedicated, responsible, and autonomous Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting functions. In this role, you will work independently to manage our financial records, streamline day-to-day transactions, and ensure full statutory compliance. If you are a self-starter who thrives in a standalone role and loves taking complete charge of the books, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Full Sets of Accounts: Independently handle the closing of monthly and yearly full sets of accounts.

- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and maintain proper documentation.

- Audit & Tax Liaison: Prepare necessary schedules, accounts, and documentation for year-end audits and tax submissions.

- Cash Flow Management: Manage daily transactional data entries, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.

- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices strictly comply with Malaysian statutory regulations.

Job Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience (experience handling full sets independently is preferred).

- Education: Minimum SPM/Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification.

- Autonomy: Ability to work alone with high discipline, minimal supervision, and strong problem-solving skills.

- Traits: Meticulous, highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to meet tight monthly closing deadlines.

- Languages: Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

- Availability: Candidates who can start immediately or on short notice will be given a strong advantage.
