1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Supervisor in managing the production line when necessary or as instructed, and drive operators to achieve satisfactory machine utilization and efficiency with minimal downtime
• Highlight to the Production Supervisor any instances of high fallout
• Achieve daily targets set by the Production Supervisor
• Identify and develop potential operators to handle the right equipment at the right time, and motivate them to achieve higher throughput, quality, and efficiency
• Guide and assist operators in developing the skills required to perform their jobs effectively
• Monitor and update hourly production status
• Monitor the CIQ system and ensure proper implementation on the production line, ensuring work meets or exceeds all required standards
• Serve as a communication link between operators and management
• Other additional work tasks or additional roles assigned by the superior

2.0 Job Requirements

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Proficient in operating a personal computer, including Windows-based operating systems and related software
• Advanced PC skills
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to handle standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs

3.0 Authorities

• Manage headcount and manpower planning for daily operations
• System access for overall operations and job task-related applications
• Validate and sign all related process checklists, and provide feedback on any abnormalities
• Conduct line audits and confirm operators’ downtime and abnormalities are properly recorded on the given check sheets/data sheets
• Report production performance outcomes on a two-hour basis
• Proactively highlight and report any operational abnormalities that may potentially impact output and quality
• Provide hands-on machine support when required and ensure product compliance
• Authorized to conduct briefings and training for related and newly onboarded operators
• Act as Supervisor/Area Owner during the superior’s absence or when they are on leave
• Lead daily shift kick-off meetings and GYAT meetings with the operations team (if required)

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
