We are looking for a skilled SOC L2 Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, investigating incidents, managing SIEM operations, and ensuring timely response to security alerts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms.
• Investigate, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Perform alert analysis and take appropriate remediation actions.
• Follow up with asset owners for incident resolution.
• Monitor daily SIEM console logs for threat detection.
• Update malware lists, blocked IPs, and security trackers.
• Prepare daily reports and SOC operational reports.
• Monitor server health and SIEM infrastructure.
• Verify backup jobs and ensure log sources are functioning properly.
• Configure new log sources and maintain SIEM devices.
• Develop and maintain SIEM automation scripts for backup processes.
• Perform health monitoring and resolve operational issues.
• Handle ad-hoc security requests and support SOC operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, or LogRhythm.
• Strong understanding of SIEM Monitoring, Incident Response, Log Analysis, Malware Analysis, Windows/Linux Security, and Networking.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, Firewalls, and Endpoint Security is preferred.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
