We are looking for a proactive SOC Specialist to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for security event monitoring, initial incident investigation, alert analysis, SIEM monitoring, and ensuring smooth day-to-day SOC operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial alert triage and first-level security incident investigation.
• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms.
• Investigate security alerts and assign incidents to asset owners.
• Conduct alert analysis and follow established incident response procedures.
• Monitor daily SOC operations and BAU activities.
• Update malware lists and blocked IP repositories.
• Track and follow up on pending security incidents.
• Monitor connector status and SIEM log collection.
• Perform logger event archiving and backup activities when required.
• Prepare daily operational reports and SOC dashboards.
• Verify log backup status and ensure successful completion.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot threshold breaches.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous SOC operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, or LogRhythm.
• Good understanding of SIEM Monitoring, Incident Response, Log Analysis, Malware Analysis, Windows/Linux Security, and Networking.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, Firewalls, and Endpoint Security is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
