Job Purpose
As a Financial Navigator, your primary responsibility is to guide and assist patients through the intricate landscape of financial challenges associated with healthcare. You will conduct thorough means assessments, delving into the individual financial circumstances of patients, and tailor financial plans that align with their unique needs. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough means assessments for patient access program applicants.
- Gather and analyze financial data, explaining assessment processes and eligibility criteria to patients.
- Offer compassionate guidance, addressing patient concerns and advocating for relevant financial assistance programs.
- Maintain confidential records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and program requirements.
- Ensure effective means assessments for program eligibility, monitoring success in addressing unique patient circumstances.
- Provide high-level support and satisfaction to patients in financial navigation, addressing inquiries promptly.
- Generate reports on financial assessment outcomes, program utilization, and trends; analyze data for improvement insights.
- Identify and address compliance issues and risks, actively participating in training for industry best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to streamline the financial navigation process.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and government agencies to promote program goals.
- Develop patient education materials, assist in program operations, and maintain a positive work environment for staff.
- Represent the program in meetings with external stakeholders, providing updates on activities and outcomes.
- Manage incoming communications, filter and forward as needed, and assist in facilitating external stakeholder meetings.
- Provide regular updates and communication with stakeholders across all levels.
Requirements / Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Health Science, Social Science, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year working experience
- Work experience with non-profit organisation will be an added advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
