Globetronics Hiring! Full Time Process - Equipment Technician (Die Prep - Wafer Sort) in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform machine setup, recipe verification, product changeover, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure stable production output.
• Support engineering activities, process improvement, and new product introduction (NPI).
• Perform machine qualification, calibration, and documentation.
• Work closely with Process Engineers, Production, and Quality teams to achieve production, quality, and yield targets.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and 5S practices.

Preferred Process Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following processes are encouraged to apply:

• Die Sorting
• Pick & Place
• Layer Sorting
• Semiconductor Assembly Equipment
• Vision Inspection Systems (advantage)
• Automated Manufacturing Equipment

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and machine setup.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, sensors, motors, PLCs, or robotics is an added advantage.
• Able to work in a cleanroom and shift environment (if required).
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Full Time Position located in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
