Job Description:

Duties relevant to Learning Support

• Assist in the educational and social development of students with Special Learning Needs (SEN)

• The candidate must be committed to inclusive education and effective student support. Adaptable, patient, and possesses strong communication skills.

  Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Support students one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance student development.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to parents and SSD Coordinator.

• Support students in mainstream classes including all academic and non-academic subjects (Activities in Recreation and Activities/YMCA)

• Support students with emotional / behavioral problems and help develop their social skills / behaviors, including the implementation of behavior modification programs when required

• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, including supporting access to classroom learning and school activities, to enable students to fully participate in activities

• Assist students with personal care needs (e.g. toileting, changing clothes)

• The candidate can understand and speak Cantonese
