As an Air Cargo Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of international air cargo shipments while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end air import and export shipments with airlines, logistics partners, and customers.
• Plan, book, monitor, and track shipments to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.
• Manage import/export documentation, customs permit declarations and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, providing timely updates and effective logistics solutions.
• Liaise with airlines, terminals, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Process accurate billing, maintain shipment records, and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with company procedures.
• Monitor operational performance to meet service standards, KPIs, and ISO quality requirements.
• Support cross-functional operations, including warehouse activities and operational projects, when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in job rotations to broaden operational knowledge and capabilities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in air freight or freight forwarding operations.
• Experience handling Singapore Customs permits is required.
• Experience using CargoWise will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
