Global Supply Planner
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join our Global Supply Planning team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing supply plans to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory, production capacity, and supplier performance. The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning
- Develop, execute, and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production capacity, inventory targets, and business objectives.
- Monitor supply plans and proactively adjust to accommodate demand fluctuations, supply constraints, and changing business priorities.
- Ensure timely replenishment of materials to support uninterrupted production and customer service levels.
Inventory Management
- Optimize inventory levels while balancing product availability and working capital objectives.
- Perform safety stock analysis, reorder point reviews, and inventory health assessments to minimize excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
- Monitor inventory performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Supplier Management
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure timely material availability and resolve supply issues.
- Monitor supplier performance through key metrics such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), lead time adherence, and service levels.
- Lead supplier communication to expedite deliveries, manage shortages, negotiate recovery plans, and improve supplier performance.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Represent assigned suppliers and product portfolio during the S&OP process.
- Provide supply-related insights, identify capacity or material constraints, and recommend practical solutions to support business decisions.
Risk Management
- Identify potential supply chain risks, including material shortages, supplier constraints, and logistics disruptions.
- Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs, including inventory performance, supplier delivery performance, forecast adherence, and supply plan execution.
- Prepare reports and present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analysis and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Production, Customer Service, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure supply plans are aligned with business priorities and customer requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Supply Chain Management, Materials Planning, Production Planning, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, logical formulas (IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS), and data analysis.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
- Good understanding of supply planning principles, inventory management, safety stock, reorder point planning, and material replenishment.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and performance management.
- Experience managing suppliers across multiple regions or global supply networks.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
