About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Payment Operations Intern to join our Digital Banking Operations team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to payment processing, transaction monitoring, reconciliation activities, and operational support within a fast-paced digital banking environment.

As a Payment Operations Intern, you will work closely with experienced operations professionals to support the smooth execution of payment transactions across multiple channels while gaining valuable knowledge of banking operations, payment systems, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the processing and monitoring of daily payment transactions across various payment channels.
• Support payment verification activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of transaction instructions.
• Prepare and maintain daily operational and reconciliation reports.
• Assist in investigating and resolving payment and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams on payment-related queries and operational matters.
• Support documentation and maintenance of operational procedures and process guidelines.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Available for a minimum internship period of 3 months.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Basic understanding of banking operations, payments, or accounting principles is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
