Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Facility Engineering team, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
• Develop and implement facility strategies to ensure reliability and longevity of plant equipment and assets.
• Oversee equipment repair, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and improvement activities.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for facility-related projects and services.
• Develop and manage facility budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Manage equipment, machinery, and spare parts inventory to ensure availability and proper condition.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and production disruption.
• Ensure facility activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (DOSH, DOE, OSHA, Fire Department).
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment manuals, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvement and cost-saving projects (CSP).
• Support sustainability initiatives and compliance programs.
• Manage building-related CAPEX projects, including planning and execution.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve technical capabilities and performance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial / leadership role.
• Strong experience in facility engineering, equipment maintenance, and improvement projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify equipment efficiency improvements.
• Proficient in facility budget management, maintenance planning, and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and lead engineers and technicians.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards such as ISO 13849-1, UL, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing facility environment is preferred.

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
