Job Summary:
We are seeking a committed and experienced Senior Human Resource Executive / Assistant Manager to join our Human Resource Department. The successful candidate will support the Human Resource Manager in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, HR operations, employee relations, training and development, performance management, statutory compliance, and HR administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience in payroll, recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, training administration, and statutory compliance is required.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, and HR best practices.
- Experience in an education institution or service-based organisation will be an added advantage.
- Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently, support junior staff, and collaborate effectively with all levels of employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with HR/payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the recruitment and selection process for all Faculties and Departments, including job advertisements, candidate sourcing, interview arrangements, and recruitment documentation.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation, orientation arrangements, and staff introductions.
- Prepare, review, and maintain job descriptions for academic and administrative positions.
- Manage HR operations, including employee personal files, HR records, staff database, employment letters, confirmation, contract expiry, resignation, retirement, and related employment matters.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, statutory deductions, and contributions.
- Prepare and submit relevant documents to statutory bodies, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, and other government authorities.
- Handle payroll-related queries, data entry, and payroll documentation.
- Monitor and maintain staff attendance, leave records, staff claims, and other HR records.
- Assist in teaching permit, work permit, and other regulatory applications where applicable.
- Support employee relations and industrial relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, documentation, reports, letters, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in reviewing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with HR policies, company procedures, labour laws, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including training needs analysis, training plans, training schedules, HRDF claims, training records, and evaluation reports.
- Maintain staff appraisal records and support performance management processes.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities such as employee surveys, team-building activities, recognition programmes, and staff welfare initiatives.
- Provide effective HR support and advice to employees and management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Human Resource Manager or Management from time to time.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
